3 Days 2 Nights Trip | Jinja

You will be picked up by our guide driver in the morning and you shall embark on a 2-3-hour drive to Jinja through the vibrant streets of Kampala, taking the eastern route via Mukono, enjoying the grassy plains and vibrant cultures gradually shifting from urban to rural, stopping over Namawojjolo for some delicacies like roast chicken and “gonja”, while stretching to re-hit the road. First off you will traverse 3km off Jinja road through a murram rocky roads surrounded by sugarcane plantations to the magnificent Ssezibwa falls. Welcomed by the roaring rapids and hospitable guides, you will experience the beauty of mother nature, as water from River Ssezibwa squeezes through narrow rocks opening and then dropping at a great spread off 17-meter height into a large pool of about 14 meters deep, then flows to pour its water all the way to Lake Kyoga. You will enjoy the overwhelming experience as you view a vibrant biodiversity including snakes like the African cobra, green mambas and horned cobras, primates’ monkeys.

After here, you will get back on the road and drive straight to Lugazi. Taking 10km off the Kampala Jinja highway through sugarcane plantations to Griffin falls camp in Mabira forest for zip lining.

Following a safety briefing, you shall walk for 1km deep into Mabira forest for your ziplining activity. The zipline system is towered 45meters above the ground following strict international safety standards between the tallest trees and shall send you soaring above the rainforest across the 7 course ziplines. Please expect to soak into mother nature, as you enjoy the adrenaline pumping heights, breathtaking views of forest layers, mammals like grey cheeked mangabeys, red tailed monkeys, birds like palm nut vultures, African fish eagles, great blue turacos and the roaring griffin falls, making your zip a memorable.

From your zipline you shall proceed to have your lunch then drive to jinja and check into your hotel for your overnights stay.

You shall be awakened to a sumptuous breakfast after which you shall head out for your tubing expedition. Following a safety briefing, you will be given life jackets, helmets, inflatable tubes, and start your tubing expedition, Tubing the Nile is a thrilling experience that involves floating down the river in inflatable tubes tackling some challenging rapids as you soak in the beauty of the Nile and its surrounding. As you tube the Nile, fresh fruits shall be served to you to quench your thirst.

In the afternoon, you will have a break off tubing and have a sumptuous lunch as you rest and prepare for an adventurous boat cruise.

At 15:00hrs, you will start your boat cruise along the majestic river and here you will have a chance to see the source of the Nile, the breathtaking biodiversity while enjoying the refreshing river breeze.

You shall head back to your hotel for dinner and rest overnight.

After your sumptuous breakfast and at around 10:00hrs, you will check out of the hotel and embark on your journey back to Kampala.
