Day one of our Double Primates Experience will begin with a warm meet & greet with your driver guide, followed by a smooth transfer from the airport to your accommodation in Entebbe, a charming lakeside city known for its botanical gardens, fresh breeze from Lake Victoria, and relaxed atmosphere.

About Entebbe

Carved into the jungle-fringed shores of Africa's largest lake, Entebbe has a sprawling green feel belying its former status as colonial-era capital and present role as the main air gateway to Uganda. Don't expect a cluster of high-rise buildings as you get here, but rather a sprawl of suburban gardens that merge into a golf course and botanical garden bordering Lake Victoria.

Enjoy a warm early breakfast and after will be will be transferred to Kibale National Park for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure. After your adventure, you will be transferred back to your accommodation, for lunch and refreshment.

Guided Walk, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
Later in the evening, you will enjoy a guided walk through the beautiful Bigodi Swamp and there after, you will be taken to your lodge for an overnight stay.

As you trek through misty trails, lush vegetation, and towering trees, your guide will lead the way to your assigned gorilla family, where you can witness these gentle giants up close in their natural habitat. Each encounter is unique experience and spending time in the presence of these gentle giants is a real privilege. Enjoy awe inspiring views of infants play, silverbacks commanding their troop, and listen to the haunting calls that echo through the forest.
